Language and context
A working approach to bilingual knowledge that preserves the meaning of an answer.
The working question
A translated script can be grammatically correct and still be difficult to use. Customer vocabulary, local expectations and product terminology all affect understanding. A bilingual support approach therefore needs to preserve the underlying decision, not merely reproduce the same sentence in another language.
The approach
Organise knowledge around common questions and decisions. Review the language with fluent service practitioners and maintain an agreed glossary for terms that must remain consistent. Allow agents to explain naturally while keeping the policy and required information intact.
The review
Listen for points where customers ask for an explanation again. These moments can reveal an unclear term, an overloaded sentence or a missing piece of context. Update the knowledge entry and revisit it in coaching so that a useful lesson becomes shared practice.
